Personal Fitness Training at Infinity Martial Arts

In light of the current atmosphere in the health care industry, people are being incentivized by their medical plans to “get healthy” by focusing on preventative medicine and stress reduction.  This includes all facets of mind and body care that range from massage therapy, to acupuncture, chiropractic care, and most importantly – incorporating exercise into your daily life.   Since the general public understands the many benefits of  implementing an exercise program, the intent to follow through on any fitness goal typically begins to unravel with the continuous struggle of managing a hectic, overly scheduled life of children (and their activities), work, and trying to fit family time in as well.  The key to this challenge is finding the suitable environment where you find the sometimes dreaded word “exercise” to be engaging and fun, all while producing the fitness results you set out to accomplish in the first place.  With the amount of daily stressors (both positive and negative) we face, finding that balance to include time for self in daily living is necessary to be happy and healthy in all facets of life.  Often times, it takes another individual to hold us accountable in attaining our “get healthy” goals.  Whether, it’s a friend, significant other, husband, or even a personal trainer; you need someone that positively challenges your fitness goals, and motivates you to “keep going” along your healthy living path to be the best you can be.

At Infinity Martial Arts, you have the opportunity to work with a certified personal fitness trainer.  Perhaps you’ve
thought about working with a trainer in the past, but have turned away from it because of a big gym atmosphere?  Infinity Martial Arts is a private studio where a client would be working with only the personal trainer with no other interruptions of people or ongoing classes.   The certified personal trainer, Deanna Kane (also the Turbo Kick and Yoga Fusion Instructor at Infinity) is a 1st Degree Black Belt with over 15 years experience in the fitness industry.  Her goal is to create a unique fitness program individually designed for each client based on utilizing body dynamics in core strengthening exercises (taken from Pilates, Yoga and basic to advanced strength conditioning movements) as well as cardio endurance drills.  She incorporates her martial arts background into each workout since the mental and physical benefits of it have a synergistic effect on both a strong body and mind.  It’s geared to be challenging – yet fun!  She can help you not only “get fit”, but also lose weight (if that is indeed your goal) while getting strong both physically and mentally to attain that fitness goal of “getting healthy”.

As a parent of a karate student, have you thought about starting karate as well; but perhaps thought against it – simply because you felt that you weren’t in good enough shape to start karate?

Then personal training would be the perfect answer for you! Deanna will help you build your core strength and cardio endurance so that you’re more than ready to launch into any martial arts program.  Taking karate together as a family not only promotes a unified goal in being fit and healthy in addition to learning the martial arts and self – defense; it also creates a shared interest with your child which promotes a unique bond and activity that you can enjoy together.

Would you like to train with a friend or significant other?

This is also an option!  Training with your friend or significant other can be a great experience where you are not only held accountable by Deanna, but by each other as well, while learning ways to challenge each other in your individual fitness goals.
